The grant from the Matchroom Charitable Foundation allowed New Hope to completely refurbish one of their two pool tables with new cloth, new cushions and a general overhaul alongside organising a pool tournament for people recovering from homelessness.
Matchroom Charitable Foundation are delighted to support Haven House with an annual £50,000 donation for the next three years.
Matchroom Charitable Foundation’s funding of £10,000 is granted to Time to Talk Befriending to be used towards befriending services, helping over 600 older people overcome loneliness and social isolation.
The donation has enabled the charity to support and improve the lives of many young carers in the area, where over 2000 carers are currently registered.
