The Matchroom Charitable Foundation committed a £25,000 annual donation for the next three years to Sense, a leading national disability charity. The money will be used to fund Sense’s sport and physical activity programme (known as Sense Active) in Loughborough.
This is the third donation that the Foundation has made to the James Hopkins Trust which provides free nursing led respite for severely disabled, life-limited and life-threatened young children living in Gloucestershire.
Matchroom have long standing connection with the town of Sheffield and it’s communities with The Crucible hosting the World Snooker Championships since 1977.
A £10,000 grant enabled Age Well East to support older residents (mainly 75+) across Braintree, Colchester and Tendring who face low income, disability, and digital exclusion.
