The Foundation is delighted to be able to help the Handicapped Children’s Action Group, a charity that provides specialist equipment for children with disabilities, learning difficulties, and other special needs.
Children, from all areas of the UK, are unable to obtain this equipment from the NHS and because of the cost, it can be unaffordable for families. The equipment the charity provides makes such a difference in the everyday lives of the children and families they support. It enables them to be out and about in their local community, whether within the safe confines of a buggy or enjoying independent movement with a trike, wheelchair, body suit, walking frame, or one of the many other items of equipment they provide.
Our donation contributed to the purchase of 11 adapted pushchairs for older children with walking difficulties.
