Little Havens provides specialist care and support for babies, children and young people living with complex or incurable conditions from Essex and the surrounding boroughs.
Little Havens work closely with the family and their health and social care professionals to ensure their care and support is the best it can possibly be, so the whole family can get the most from life, and make every day count. Most of the babies, children and young people they care for have conditions that limit their life expectancy, making it even more important for them and their families to make every day of their lives together count.
The money Little Havens received helped to fund a Nurse at the hospice. They help families make more of the time they have together and give them more choice about their care. The kind of care that treats everyone as a person, not a patient.
