The Matchroom Foundation is proud to confirm the successful donation of £300,000 to Saint Francis Hospice, supporting the Hospice’s vital Ward Development Project.
This funding will contribute directly to the redecoration and modernisation of the ward, creating a more comfortable, welcoming environment for patients, families, staff and volunteers. It will also help deliver much-needed upgrades to ward entertainment systems, ensuring patients have access to reliable, modern technology that supports wellbeing, connection with loved ones and a sense of normality during their time in care. We are delighted to play a leading role in a project that will strengthen the Hospice’s ability to provide compassionate, dignified care now and for years to come.
Tes Smith, Director of Services and Quality Care at Saint Francis Hospice, said, “A contribution of £300k from the Matchroom Foundation will have an enormous impact not only on the people we support, but also their families and our staff and volunteers, enabling us to confidently navigate the future of Saint Francis Hospice for the next 40 years.”
