The Matchroom Charitable Foundation recently supported Dave Clark in his trek along the Dales Way in aid of Parkinson’s UK.
Clark completed the six day, 85 mile walk alongside former Sky producer Martin Turner to raise funds and awareness for Parkinson’s UK.
Dave’s initial target of £10,000 has been doubled with a further £10,000 donation from the Foundation.
The renowned Sky Darts presenter was diagnosed with Parkinsons in 2011 and has since been increasing the profile of the disease, which affects 145,000 in the UK, as well as raising tens of thousands of pounds with his own walking challenges.
In 2016, Parkinson’s UK became the official charity partner of the Professional Darts Corporation and raised £200,000 to support groundbreaking research into Parkinsons.
