Jessie May receive another two years of funding from Matchroom Foundation

The Jessie May Children’s Hospice at Home will have annual donations of £30,000 for another two years, as the Foundation extends it’s support to the Bristol charity.

The funds will continue to pay for a Senior nurse covering the Bristol South area, which is close to the office base of one of the Foundation’s benefactor’s, World Snooker. The role ensures that 66 local families are receiving vital support each year.

Ruth Russell, Senior Trust & Major Fundraiser for Jessie May, said…

“Thank you so much for The Matchroom Sport Charitable Foundation’s wonderful support of Jessie May. Jessie May’s caseload continues to grow. We’re currently supporting the highest number of children since our inception 22 years ago. Today there are 135 children on our caseload and a further 48 families receiving ongoing bereavement support. Without you funding, we wouldn’t be able to provide the level and quality of support that we do – thank you so much.”
