The Matchroom Foundation have awarded a £50,000 donation to the Future Youth Zone in Barking & Dagenham. Future has long been supported by Matchroom President Barry Hearn and the Foundation first made a donation in 2021.
Future Youth Zone isn’t just a state-of-the-art facility with over 20 activities – it’s a launchpad for young people’s futures. From a boxing ring and a climbing wall to the music studio and art room, Future offer a thriving Youth Zone that young people can explore their passions and discover their hidden potential in. But the magic happens beyond the activities. The professional youth workers are dedicated and trusted adults who listen and work with young people to help heartbreaking stories become a heartwarming story by building their skills, confidence, and happiness.
