Matchroom Foundation was pleased to be able to give a £30,000 injection to Donna Louise Trust to help them maintain services helping families with children requiring palliative care through the pandemic. The families they support have been massively impacted by Covid 19, with the children’s health putting them at risk, anxiety levels high and a lack of access to their usual channels of support. With the uncertainty of when fundraising levels will pick up, the charitiy continues to be under pressure to delivery it’s much needed support and care the families in need.
The Donna Louise Hospice for Children & Young People provides a lifeline to hundreds of families across Staffordshire and South Cheshire. They provide specialist care and support services for children with life-shortening conditions, due to illness or injury.
