Cyclists Fighting Cancer have received a £10,000 donation from the Matchroom Charitable Foundation enabling them to continue helping children living with and beyond cancer in the UK.
Since 2005, Cyclists Fighting Cancer has helped over 7,000 children (up to and including the age of 18) living with and beyond cancer throughout the UK.
They provide a unique and highly effective way of helping children with cancer through activity and exercise.
They supply new lightweight bikes, tandems, specially adapted trikes and ongoing support to help children regain their physical fitness, improve their mental wellness and rebuild social connections.
Exercise has been shown in numerous studies to be the single most effective way of improving both physical and mental wellness for people surviving cancer and Cyclists Fighting Cancer are passionate about sharing these benefits and helping families along this difficult journey.
