https://www.thedonnalouise.org/The Matchroom Sport Charitable Foundation are delighted to announce the Foundation’s first donation. £20,000 has been contributed to the Donna Louise Children’s Hospice in Stoke on Trent to upgrade and refurbish their Sensory Room.
The Sensory Room will feature bespoke mobile soft play plinths, fibre optics, a Bubble Wall and a Photo Luminescent panel amongst other facilities.
The Hospice are also excited to introduce a new and innovative sensory experience – the Immersive Corner, which projects interactive images around the wall and floor. Integrated with additional equipment like wind machines, an aroma panel and colourwash lighting it will provide an enveloping experience for their children and young people.

The new sensory room will be a wonderful, interactive space for our children and young people to enjoy whilst staying with us and I’m sure they are all looking forward to using this great new facility.”
The Donna Louise Children’s Hospice provide specialist care and support to more than 200 children with shortened life expectancy and their families, and relies on donations and fundraising to raise £3 million each year to keep their doors open.
