£10,000 donation to Gloucestershire respite charity

£10,000 donation to Gloucestershire respite charity

The Foundation made a £10,000 contribution to the James Hopkins Trust, a charity that for the past 35 years, has been providing free nurse-led respite to families with severely disabled, life-limited and life-threatened young children in Gloucestershire.

The charity currently support over 100 families in Gloucestershire by providing family-centered care and support adapted to the children’s individual needs, either in the home or at their purpose-built respite centre, Kites Corner where they offer a variety of activities for children to enjoy. The Matchroom Charitable Foundation’s donation of £10,000 has enabled them to continue providing regular respite to families that so desperately need it.

The charity said “We are truly grateful for not only the financial contribution we have received from Matchroom but also the recognition of the work we do and feel so passionately about. It means so much to us and the families that we support. Thank you!”
